Taalhuis Amsterdam is a house for languages, located in the heart of Amsterdam, where you can learn and improve your Dutch and Mediterranean languages. Our school consists of a team of language lovers with a thrill for text, literature, grammar, culture and coffee. We believe that learning a language is more than books, vocabulary and grammar and that many factors contribute to learning a new language. We therefore teach in small groups, with as little level difference as possible and we do our best to create a safe and ‘gezellige’ atmosphere. Our classes are mostly taught in the target language and (if available) we use books in the target language with a communicative approach. We use the time in class mostly to train your speaking skill
