Ipek Kotan explores the sculptural vessel form in a distintive minimalist and modern way using porcelain as her material. She’s had solo shows in New York, Boston, Berlin, Bath, Brussels and Freiburg. She has been commissioned by Cartier, Christian Liaigre, Barneys New York and a First Lady; interviewed by Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Art Aurea, Ceramic Review, Klei, Neue Keramik, Leidsch Dagblad, among others. Her artworks are represented in several museums in Europe, including the Museum Boijmans van Beuningen and in more than 250 private art collections worldwide from San Francisco to Tokyo. It is possible to visit her studio by appointment only.
