It was during a holiday in America in 2007 when I first discovered my passion for photography. I found myself getting lost in finding creative ways of capturing the incredible landscape. Because that initial experience had such an impact on me, I bought my first SLR camera as soon as I arrived home, followed almost immediately by a photography course by a local photographer. In the beginning, my primary focus was on capturing the fine details of nature and my immediate surroundings, as well as teaching myself how to operate and work with image editing programs.
