NewTechKids is an education academy in Amsterdam dedicated to teaching students ages four to 14 about technological innovation. Our programs are taught during and after school as well as during school vacations. Our goal is to shift children from only being technology users to becoming technology creators, designers and builders. New TechKids' programs teach children important concepts related to design, computer science, programming and robotics while encouraging them to hone 21st century skills such as creativity, teamwork and collaboration, and communication. During our programs, children learn to evaluate and assess technology, its pros, cons, implications and ethics while developing an 'innovator's mindset'.
