The Lorentz Center is a workshop center that hosts international scientific meetings in all scientific disciplines and for everyone who is active in research, at all levels and in all scientific fields. Our workshops are characterized by an open and interactive atmosphere and their high scientific quality. We aim to bring scientific fields and minds together and we focus on new collaborations and on interactions in highly diverse groups of researchers. We hold that diversity of scientific viewpoints, geographic origin as well as seniority, gender and culture is essential for research now and in the future. We host about 80 workshops a year, of typically one week.
