Our research focuses on fluid and electrolyte handling by the kidney and its implications for common conditions such as hypertension and chronic kidney disease (CKD). In clinical studies we address the impact of the renal tubular mechanisms identified in the lab. Through our tertiary referral center we also focus on inherited kidney disease including polycystic kidney disease and tubulopathies.
