The Danish Seamens Church in Rotterdam is a Danish church, which is the cultural gathering place for Danes in the Netherlands and welcomes everyone regardless of faith or nationality. The Church holds services in Danish and conducts baptisms, confirmations, funerals and blessings of couples. The seaman's chaplain and the church's assistants visit ships sailing under the Danish flag that calls the port of Rotterdam. The church is open every day, ring the bell and we will open for you. Monday - Tuesday by appointment, as we are either in the port or church. Cafe Solskin - the terrace cafe is open in good weather from 10.00 - 17.00 Wednesday through Sunday, where you can get warm and cold drinks and Danish food and cakes.
