Benkő Könyves also known as Ben Stone, is a jazz drummer, classical percussionist and techno producer from Hungary/Serbia. In 2015, he graduated at Kunstunversitat Graz (Austria) with a Jazz-Bachelor degree. During his studies he had the chance to play with musicians such as Benny Golson, Billy Hart, Peter Bernstein, Joe Lovano, Jim Rotondi, and Howard T. Curtis. He attended masterclasses with industry professionals such as Curtis Fuller, David Hazeltine, Carla Bley, Jim Snidero, Heinrich von Kalnein, Dick Oats and many more. Ben is currently based in Amsterdam teaching as a Drum Lecturer in multiple schools such as: United Pop, British School of Amsterdam and Lucky Beat. Whilst owning a private drum school since 2020.
